Silent Hunter 5

I have been asked numerous times is this game free? what mods do I use, where can I find them? and what order should they be loaded.

STEP 1:

Silent Hunter 5 Battle of the Atlantic will need to be purchased. It is recommended to buy a dvd box version however there are versions available from Uplay and Steam.

STEP 2:

Head over to the SubSim forums to read the 'how to' to get your fresh game install bug fixed and modded. CLICK HERE

Make sure you follow the TDW's Generic Patcher's notes and fix those bugs!

STEP 3:

You will need JSGME to enable the mods that can me found here <<< CLICK HERE >>>

STEP 4:

Go Sink some Tonnage!!

TONNAGE BAR WORK-AROUND

Start Silent Hunter 5
When the game finishes loading and you are in the main menu go to the desktop using Alt+TAB
Start the Windows task manager and go to the process list
Find the OSI.exe process and right click on it
Go to "manage priority" and set it to "real time"
The computer will ask if you want to do it, click yes. It will then tell you that it cannot enable the real time and instead it will set it to "high", that's ok, click on it
Close the task manager and return to the game;
Start or load a saved game and enjoy it

MANUAL TONNAGE EDITING

Sometimes the tonnage workaround doesnt work, but now you dont have to miss out on the ships tonnage not counting for your mission.
